Cover with cling wrap and let sit in refrigerator overnight.
Preheat oven to 120 C. Line a 15 x 10 inch baking pan with baking paper. Transfer pork mixture to pan and top with cling wrap or more baking paper. Press with our hands until it is flattened. Then using a rolling pin, flatten further until it is one continuous sheet that covers the pan about 3 mm high. Remove top layer of baking paper
Place pan in oven and bake for 25 minutes. Remove from oven. Pour off any liquid. Flip meat and return it to pan.
Return pork to pan and bake for 15 more minutes.
Let cool briefly and then using kitchen shears ,cut into 10 x 10 cm squares.
Increase oven temperature to 205C. Combine Sukrin syrup and water.
Arrange meat squares back onto pan. Brush with syrup mixture. Return pan to oven and cook for 10-15 minutes until it reaches the desired color. Flip meat squares and brush other side with syrup. Cook 10-15 more minutes.
Let cool and enjoy.
Some tasters found the recipe very sweet, when originally made with 80g so we recommend you cut the sweetener to 40g. But if you like things sweet, add up to 80g of granulated sweetener to 500g of ground meat.
